Today our 5th grade students showed how much they've learned this year in writing by completing the writing prompt for the SOL testing. I am confident they all did their best. This officially marks the first round of testing for the spring.
Speaking of spring, it is definitely in the air! The sun is finally shining and the air is warm. I think I speak for many when I say we are glad to see the the snow melt away and the signs of spring around us. Spring break is just a few weeks away!
The end of the marking period is April 2nd. Now is a great time to remind your children of appropriate behaviors at school and on the bus. The children begin to get excited up this time of year. Providing them opportunities for physical activity and outdoor play is very important to their health and growth. It also helps them concentrate in school.
